The oldest child at the home that day was 10. The 10-year-old told investigators that there was no #food and that he had to give his baby Jacob NyQuil in his milk bottle because he was sick. Jacob died later that night. —According to investigators, Magby’s 6-year-old child said the baby sometimes ate ants and roaches because he was so hungry. While the child was dying at home, Magby was allegedly at a hotel with a man.—In addition to the #child neglect charges, Magby is also charged with assault for allegedly throwing a knife at her 13-year-old while he ran from her. She was previously given a bond in that case, but yesterday the judge revoked it.

She tried to hold Jiryiah above her head, but the dogs climbed up, tore the baby from her hands, and she was severely bitten as well. Jiryiah later died at the hospital the same day.—Prosecutors argued that Rodriguez knew the dogs were dangerous and had the habit of chewing through doors. During the sentencing, Jiryiah’s parents took the stand, and it was clear how difficult it still is for them.
