Nicki Minaj brought a polished, feminine look with a touch of early-career nostalgia to the 2026 X Takeover, held October 10 at Tesla’s Giga Texas in Austin.

The rap superstar wore ALAÏA’s Polka-Dot Bustier Midi Column Dress in Ecru & Rouge. Its structured bodice and fitted silhouette balanced the playful print, while the midi length added elegance. Minaj also added a white short-sleeved layer, lending the ensemble a relaxed yet sophisticated finish.

Gianvito Rossi Ocean ankle-strap sandals in rouge patent leather echoed the dress’s red accents, while a Rolex Datejust Red Ombré completed her accessories.

Her long, straight black hair with pink undertones and blunt bangs recalled her signature style from 2009 and 2010, bringing the bold Barbie aesthetic of her early career into the ensemble.

The whole look felt feminine, confident, and unmistakably Minaj.
