Hall reportedly checked and found that one of his tickets actually won $2,700. —After explaining to the customer that the amount exceeded what they could pay him on the spot, she gave him a printed receipt with instructions on how to claim his #prize. However, investigators say she never returned his actual winning ticket, which is required to collect the money. —Hours later, after realizing he did not have the ticket, the customer returned to the store to speak with a manager. The manager allegedly checked the surveillance cameras and found that Hall had picked up the ticket when the customer walked out and folded it into the left pocket of her uniform vest.—The next morning, Monday, June 15, police went to the store and questioned Hall about the incident. She explained that she got distracted by another customer and forgot to give the ticket to her manager, as she had initially planned. She walked with the officers to her car, where she retrieved the ticket and handed it to them. She was then placed under arrest.—Hall has been charged with Grand Theft, but has since been released on bond.
