At about 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2026, a woman identified as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz of Orlando, Florida, allegedly drove to Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion located in the 9500 block of Heather Road and fired multiple shots from her vehicle. The bullets struck the wall of the house, but fortunately did not penetrate to the interior. According to Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman, the singer was at home with her mother, her partner, rapper Asap Rocky, and their three young children at the time of the shooting.

Ortiz allegedly fled the area after the shooting but was later arrested in Sherman Oaks. Her bail was initially set at $10,225,000, but as she appeared in court for the first time on Tuesday, it was reduced to $1.875 million. Ortiz faces one count of attempted murder, 10 felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and three felony counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or camper. Her arraignment is scheduled for March 25, 2026. If convicted, she faces up to life in prison.
Even more disturbing, Ortiz’s Facebook posts
Following Ortiz’s arrest, it was discovered that she had been posting about Rihanna and other celebrities, with her last posts dating back to February 2026. On February 17, she posted an image with the text “When Drake found out Rihanna has AIDS.” And on February 23, 2026, she made a “weird” post about Rihanna in which she called her an “AIDS 5-head.” Some believe that Ortiz has an undiagnosed mental illness, but that has not been confirmed at this time.
