Around 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2026, a woman identified as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz of Orlando, Florida, allegedly drove to Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion located on the 9500 block of Heather Road and fired multiple shots from her vehicle. The bullets struck the house’s wall, but did not penetrate to the interior. According to Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman, the singer was at home with her mother, her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three young children at the time of the shooting.

Ortiz allegedly fled the area after the shooting but was later arrested in Sherman Oaks. Her bail was initially set at $10,225,000, but the court reduced it to $1.875 million when she first appeared in court on Tuesday, March 10. Ortiz faces one count of attempted murder, 10 felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and three felony counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or camper. If convicted, she faces up to life in prison.

After Ortiz’s arrest, social media users discovered she had been posting about Rihanna and other celebrities, with her last posts dating back to February 2026. ATM News verified the posts’ authenticity. For instance, on February 17, she posted an image with the text “When Drake found out Rihanna has AIDS.” And on February 23, 2026, she made a post about Rihanna in which she called her an “AIDS 5-head.”
