I- Harlem’s Fashion Row

Harlem’s Fashion Row set the tone for the 2024 New York Fashion Week with its 17th annual Fashion Show and Awards night on September 4, 2024. The event, “Night of Legends,” took place at the General Grant National Memorial, and many industry professionals attended.

The guest list included Vogue‘s Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour, who presented the iconic model Naomi Campbell with the “Icon of the Year” Award.

Harper’s Bazaar‘s Editor-in-Chief, Samira Nasr, received the Editor of the Year Award, and costume designer Shiona received the Stylist of the Year Award.

Another honoree is singer Teyana Taylor, who received the “Virgil Abloh” Award from LVMH.

Other icons were also present at the event and received praise from different speakers throughout the night. One of them is Stylist and fashion icon Misa Hylton, who is recognized as a pioneer and trendsetter in hip-hop fashion since the late 90s and early 2000s.

II- Michael Kors Spring 2025

The collection was inspired by Netflix’s thriller, neo-noir, mysterious, and dark TV series Ripley. It features earthy tones and many dark-colored outfits. Every outfit is crafted with the highest-quality materials and the expertise of skilled Italian artisans with whom Michael Kors has collaborated over the years. Industry professionals praised the collection for being true to the theme and aligning with the brand’s target audience.
